Ellen Page Comes Out: ‘I’m Gay’ & ‘Tired Of Hiding’

In an emotional press conference on Feb. 14, the ‘Juno’ actress bravely revealed that she’s gay and that she hopes to help promote issues for the gay community.

So brave! Actress Ellen Page attended Time To THRIVE, a conference promoting issues of the gay community, on Feb. 14, but it wasn’t just to show support — she was also there to announce that she too, is gay.

“I’m here today because I am gay,” the Juno and Inception actress told the Las Vegas conference audience. “And because… maybe I can make a difference.”
The actress was given a standing ovation for making her brave announcement. She continued: “I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission. I suffered for years, because I was scared to be out.”
After the conference, Ellen tweeted to the Human Rights Campaign, who held the event, thanking them for giving her the opportunity to come out:
It took a ton of courage for Ellen to do what she did, and her bravery will encourage so many others to feel more comfortable in their own skin.

Michael Sam: Potential NFLer Comes Out

Ellen’s huge announcement comes less than a week after Michael Sam, a former college football player, came out to ESPN’s “Outside the Lines.” Michael is entering the NFL draft in 2014, and if he is selected by a team he will become the first out player to play in the NFL.

She’s baaaack. Miley returned with a vengeance on Feb. 14, opening her ‘Bangerz’ tour in Vancouver and topping all the wild expectations with a line of racy outfits. See all of the highlights from her first concert below!

We’ve had Feb. 14 circled on our calendars for months, and not because it was Valentine’s Day. Feb. 14 was the first night of Miley Cyrus‘ “Bangerz” tour, and the controversy-loving singer did not disappoint, twerking and gallivanting around her elaborate stage in a series of wild costumes.

The Vancouver audience must’ve known they were in for a show when Miley emerged from a massive picture of her own face. Taking a ride to the stage down a slide that acted as the big-faced Miley’s tongue, the singer was already stunning in a sparkly red two-piece, crotch-baring number with furry shoulders.

And that was just the beginning. Miley later took the stage in one of her naughtiest outfits to date — a marijuana-leaf-bedazzled, thonged onesie with a plunging neckline. Miley made things even raunchier by then bending over and giving everyone a look at her bare butt, and later gyrating all over a car that was wheeled out on stage.
Some of Miley’s other in-concert outfits included a white number that barely covered her intimates, an almost completely sheer futuristic outfit, and an extremely sexy red dress. Wow — that’s all we can say.

To be fair, we had more than a few opportunities to see this coming. Miley first gave us a taste of what her on-stage behavior was going to resemble during her stint on the Jingle Ball tour. The singer ramped up the sexiness by wearing crotch-baring onesies and twerking on a guy dressed as Santa Claus.
She also showed off her flair for the unique during her performance on MTV’s Unplugged. Instead of going the usual route of wearing something revealing, Miley rocked an odd-looking, baggy faux denim suit and a gingham, cowgirl-inspired outfit.

Talk about a tease! We and the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ fans got an awesome V-Day gift, as the movie’s first still was officially released on the romantic holiday. There’s just one problem — the film won’t hit theaters for an entire year!

Luckily we love a little celluloid foreplay because the producers of the sexy S&M book-to-movie Fifty Shades of Grey are already building the excitement for the 2014 release of the film. On Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, they posted a very enticing shot — of Dakota Johnson facing off against Jamie Dornan – on the film’s official Facebook page, along with the message “See you in a year. Happy Valentine’s Day! #FiftyShades.”

This isn’t the first taste we’ve gotten of Fifty Shades. On Jan. 24, the official poster was released and we got to see Jamie in character for the first time. It only showed him from the back but it got everyone buzzing.
The image — which was of course in shades of grey — has been all over the country on billboards. The poster also got hearts racing with the words, “Mr. Grey will see you now.”
Hmmm, wonder when they’ll give us a peek at the novel’s infamous red room!

Not everyone agrees that Dakota should have been cast as the sexy lead, but after seeing her recent photos we think she’s perfect for the part.
On the cover of Elle, the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson looked absolutely stunning in a bonded John Galliano dress with thigh-highs by Donna Karan, and red suede Manolo Blahnik sandals.
